Our People

Paul Walton

Paul is a costs lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in dealing with a wide range of costs related matters. Paul started his career in costs with Masters Legal Costs Services, working his way up through the ranks to Equity Partner. During this time Paul gained experience in running departments that received instructions from both paying and receiving parties. Paul has prepared and opposed all types of Bills of Costs in the County Courts, Senior Courts Costs Office (SCCO) and the House of Lords (now the Supreme Court), attending countless detailed assessment hearings across the country and in the SCCO. Paul has also prepared many costs budgets and has attended costs management conferences.

In 2014, Paul set up A & CL Services with the intention of providing a personalised service to a smaller group of clients, priding itself on delivering on its promises.

In his spare time, Paul likes to spend time with his family and friends. He is a keen watcher of most sports (age and family having put pay to his playing days) and is a 2nd Dan in Shotokan Karate. Helping coach a youth football team has put pay to Paul's ever failing attempts to reduce his golf handicap.
